| Our vision at Koshish Foundation was to impart these poor, uneducated and oppressed girls of the Doiwala village with vocational skills so that they gain confidence, become self-reliant, self-sufficient and self motivated, learn to live with self-esteem and self-pride, inculcate self-discipline, think positive and live with their heads held high. The representation of these girls/women is ideal in terms of religion, community, social strata etc. and most of all we knew these lives for a very long time and from very close quarters. Thus Koshish Foundation offers one year vocational course in embroidery, knitting, sewing, needlework, English speaking, computer basics, family welfare, hygiene and personality development and after completion of one year of training also assures the girls/women Rs. 1500/- to Rs. 2500/- per month of Income depending on their capability and time spent.
